How do I choose a donor?

The first step when choosing a Donor is to decide if you wish for the donor to be anonymous or non-anonymous.

Under Irish Legislation all donor eggs used for treatment within the state must be non-anonymous. This ensures that the donors identity will be available to the child once they reach 18 years.

ReproMed has a collaboration with clinics in Finland where non-anonymous donor eggs are donated for treatment. Your embryos are created in Finland and transported back to Ireland for your embryo transfer meaning that you do not need to travel abroad.

We also have a collaboration with our colleagues in Prague. Anonymous donor eggs are available through our program with Iscare. For this treatment you must travel to Prague for the embryo transfer but our doctors and coordinators will oversee your treatment plan.
